RAILING AGAINST THE RAIN

The Leinster Fleadh is being held in Wicklow Town this weekend and as the town is full of people us artists were invited to show our wares around the railings on the main street by Wicklow Town Council.

Myself and a half dozen others spent today anxiously watching the weather - anticipating rain and having plastic sheets ready to cover our pictures when it rained. We made it to around 3.30 when the heavens opened and then we had to call it a day.

The streets were full of people and some artists had quite a few sales (including myself) so it was not a total washout!

Tomorrow I am thankfully indoors - on duty at the Greystones Arts Exhibition where I have three pictures.
